A company named Dietzel and Dietzel, Inc have created a network of websites, called the ‘Lagoons’. These ‘Lagoons’ basically provide free items such as gaming accessories, cash and much more to the users of their sites. What, so they just give out free stuff? Not quite, the user is required to complete surveys, which, after completed correctly, reward the user with points. Once enough points are collected for a prize, the user has to go through the phone verification process, then they can get a prize!

The following is a step-by-step guide on how to successfully use the ‘Lagoons’ and get the most out of being a member!

For the purpose of saving time, I will only go into depth with Gaming Lagoon. The only difference between Gaming Lagoon and the other lagoons is that the designs of the other lagoons are different and the prizes offered are different.

Use the list above to select which site you want to sign up to.

When you click on Gaming Lagoon via the link above, it should come to this page:

Read the Terms of Service before you do anything, which is highlighted in blue, on the yellow toolbar before you get started. It will instruct you on what you are allowed to do and what you’re not allowed to do.

Once you have read the Terms of Service, click signup and you should arrive at this page:

Fill out all of the boxes with completely truthful information, so that your prizes arrive at the correct place and so that you do not violate the Terms of Service and get banned. For the phone number field, UK users don’t put a 0 in front of your phone number. For example, instead of putting 02392123456 you should put 2392123456. Make sure you double check all the fields, to make sure you have not made any typographical errors. After that, tick the box which says ‘I agree with out Terms of Service and Privacy Policy’ and click Next Step.

Upon clicking next step, on the next page, a box will appear like this:

You do not have to choose yes for every box, it’s not necessary, only tick yes to the ones which you’re interested in. If you’re not interested in any, choose no for each one and click continue. On the next page it will say that your account is activated. Login.

Once logged in, you will arrive at this page. You will not have the amount of points shown on the picture, you will start at 0.00

The Site Navigation help will tell you a brief amount of information about your user controls, which are in blue, in the top left of the picture above. Now, it’s time to get some points!

Where the user controls are, click on the title named ‘Available Offers’. When you’ve clicked on it, you should arrive at a screen like this:

Notice the category section, highlighted in red. The blue drop-down menu will allow you to choose 7 different categories of surveys. These categories are:

1. 100% Free – These surveys do not have any charge whatsoever, hence the title 100% Free. Points awarded for these surveys - Anywhere from 0.12 to 5.00 The lower point surveys may not seem worthwhile completing, but if you complete lots of them, it does add up to quite a high point total.

2. Credit Card Required – These surveys require valid credit card details submitted, meaning that you are spending money on these surveys.
Points awarded for these surveys – Anywhere from 2.00 to 75.00

3. Purchase Required - These surveys are very similar to Credit Card Required surveys and I do believe also require valid credit card details submitted during the survey.
Points awarded for these surveys – Anywhere from 5.00 to 100.00

4. Cell Phone Required – These surveys require a cell phone number being submitted into a survey, which will charge your phone.
Points awarded for these surveys – Anywhere from 0.75 to 10

5. Free But May Not Credit Always – These surveys are completely free, but the chances of you getting the points for completing it are about 25%
Points awarded for these surveys – Anywhere from 0.50 to 5.00

6. Financial – These surveys are to do with finance, perhaps requesting a loan. Some of them require a credit card, some don’t.
Points awarded for these surveys – Anywhere from 3.00 to 75.00

7. Daily Offers – These surveys can be completed everyday, if you qualify for it.
Points awarded for these surveys – 1.00

Select your desired category once you’re ready and click ‘Search’. Before you do a survey, it is advised that you clear your internet cookies. Then, you must read the description which is underneath the banner, it will instruct you on what to do. Then, click on the banner and complete the survey using 100% real information. After the completion of a survey, return to the ‘Available Offers’ page and click completed on the survey you have just done. Once again, clear your cookies. If you have completed the offer correctly, within 1 minute to 7 days, you should be rewarded with the appropriate amount of points. If your offered does not approve within about 3 days, it usually means it will be disapproved. Does this mean you can’t try the survey again? No, if a survey is disapproved, go to your user controls and go to the title labelled ‘Disapproved Offers’ and make your offer available to complete again. The ‘not available’ button that you can see has to be clicked on if you have previously completed the same offer on another lagoon. If you do the same offer twice, you will be breaking the Terms Of Service and your account(s) will be banned.

Once you have collected enough points for a prize, go to the ‘Available Prizes’ section, which is found in the user controls.

Choose the category of prize you want and click on it. Just as an example, I chose the Xbox 360 category:

In the two yellow boxes, type Yes in each of them, then click on the request button. Leave the comments section blank. Once you request your prize, you will receive an email with a ‘Verification Number’. It is VERY important that you keep this, as it is required in the next step.

You cannot receive the prize just yet. You must verify your account by phone. The Verification Process requires you to phone Gaming Lagoon up to tell them the details in your ‘Profile’, so that they can check that you are not a fraudulent member. Your ‘Profile’ is found in your user controls. When you call in, you’re not speaking to anyone; you’re simply recording a voicemail, which then will be listened to by one of the Dietzel and Dietzel, Inc staff. Just like you requested a prize, go back to the ‘Available Prizes’ section and click on ‘Custom Order’. From there fill out and request the form labelled ‘Step 1 - Get Verified’.

1. Call from the number in your profile

This is the most important rule. If you do not call from the number in your profile, IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO GET VERIFIED. No matter who you are, how many points you have, etc. You NEED to call from that number; there is no point of calling if you’re not going to.

2. Be Clear

If you laugh or giggle somewhere along the way and it made it hard to understand, just hang up and do it again. Make sure the call is clear, there is no static, you don't go too fast, but not too slow.

3. When saying your information

Like stated above, be clear. If you think your name is too hard to understand or something, spell it. There is no need to spell everything though.

On the phone you must say your Prize Verification Number, Name, Address, Phone, Username.

For your phone number, please state the area code.

For your address, full address please, including City, State, and Zip Code/Postal Code. Make sure if you live in "123 John Road" you don't just say "123 John". Say your full mailing address.

4. Be Ready when you call. Make sure you know what you're going to say before you call. Please do not call then be like "Uh, one sec, uhhhh, okay, 123 uhhh john st, yeah uh ok"

When the voice comes on enter the site you are calling to have your account verified on, the site code is 504. Type this into your phone.

Once you are verified, you will be able to receive as many prizes as you want! You don’t need to verify again!

If you do not like any prizes that are offered on Gaming Lagoon, there is the great option of a ‘Custom Order’. A custom order means you can submit a form, asking Gaming Lagoon to buy an item on another site, such as eBay! Click on the title named ‘Custom Order’ in the ‘Available Prizes’ section:

Read the custom order form thoroughly as it gives out very important information on ordering from different sites. Once you’re done, type yes into the box which I’ve highlighted in yellow. Add up and type in the amount of points required to buy your item, making sure to include shipping fees and an extra 2 point reshipping fee for an eBay item. In the next box, copy and paste the link from the address bar for the product you wish Gaming Lagoon to purchase for you. Only type in the comment box if there’s something about the product you want Gaming Lagoon to know about. For example, if I was buying from Amazon, I would write in the comment box the seller who I want to get the item from. Finally, click request and within a day or two, your custom order should get processed and within a few more days or weeks, your order should arrive at your door!

Question: I’m getting bored of doing surveys on the site and it’s too time consuming. Is the any other way to get points?

Answer: Yes there is, referrals. On the user control menu, go down to the referral section. You will see your own unique link. When you get people to sign up using this link and they complete surveys, you will receive 20% of what they earn, without them losing a single point. If your referral refers another person, you will earn 5% of your referral’s referral.

Question: I don’t have enough points for a membership (e.g. Xbox Live, Runescape, Gaia). Is there any other way I can get these codes?
